Public Office Is Public Trust.
Why Jawabdeh exists
Because public office is public trust — and trust requires answers. Between elections, citizens have too few tools to ask, verify and demand accountability. Jawabdeh India builds those tools.
Our mission
To help citizens ask, verify, discuss, organise, demand answers and push for reform — using the same accountability standard for everyone.
Our six reform debates
VIP privilege, public money, governance competency, time-bound services, monthly town halls, and a Right to Recall debate.
Evidence policy
We find the source, verify the document, record the date, and separate fact from interpretation. A complaint is not a proven fact; a declared case is not a conviction; a proposal is not existing law.
Citizen participation
Anyone can ask a question, submit a story, sign a petition or join. Serious submissions are moderated and verified before publication.
Government response
We offer a right of reply on serious accountability content and publish official responses on the record.
Non-partisan commitment
No party. No bias. One standard: accountability. Our target is unaccountable power — not any party, candidate or government.
Peaceful civic participation
We support only lawful, peaceful and constitutional civic participation.
